From the very humble beginnings in the 1980s up to the present, people from different walks of life have heard the untarnished words of the Lord God in the Bible through its most sensible televangelist, Bro. Eliseo F. Soriano or Bro. Eli as he is fondly called and its popular TV and radio program Ang Dating Daan through Bible Expositions and Religious Debates.
The Ang Dating Daan is a religious TV and radio program of the Members, Church of God International “to promote the reading and promote and encourage the careful reading and understanding of the untarnished Gospel of Christ in the Bible.” The program uses the Bible as its basis for truth to expose different unbiblical beliefs of so-called Christian religious organizations and the corrupt and wicked practices in the religious world. The program was initiated by Bro. Eli in his endeavor to spread the truth and save many, and bring them back to the folds of God in the Bible. As times go by, scores of people have been enlightened by the light that the religious program carries. Through these years that the Ang Dating Daan program is propagating on air, baseless criticisms and personal attacks from its adversaries have been bombarded to the program on to its popular host. But the program and its host were able to withstand all these attacks and have counter-attacked using the Words of God in the Bible. These have been perennial instances since the program commenced in the 80’s until now.
People from abroad such as the United States of America and countries in South America and Africa have been enlightened by the truth in the Bible – many are still thirsting for the words of God. Now, translations of Bible Expositions and Religious debates have been constantly produced to cater the non-English and non-Filipino speakers of those who want to learn the Christian faith in the Bible aside from the English-subtitled materials.
For 29 years, the Ang Dating Daan has been exposing religious malpractices and beliefs and has been bringing back people to the light, and the Ang Dating Daan shall always continue this noble duty to propagate the truth and destroy the demonic and unbiblical beliefs of many. This is one pledge of the Members of the Church of God International and the messengers that the Lord God himself has placed in the midst of the Church – Bro. Eli Soriano and Bro. Daniel Razon – humble messengers who always think of others, and not for themselves.

I have known the Church through the program Ang Dating Daan. It was still in its infancy, what with green curtains moving and a man in thick glasses and a bible in front of him, speaking. Of course, I did not know Brother Eli then. That was 29 years ago and twenty years later, I joined the Church. Last year I joined the Worker/Trainee and I have never been complete and happy in my life.
The Ang Dating Daan today has evolved into a global program where you can watch the program 24/7 through the internet in different web sites. The Church can be found in the major cities of the world and until Brother Eli went abroad, foreign nationals joined the fold.
This page is not enough to contain the events that transpired in the almost 30 years span of the program.
