Pasyal with Rommel

I was supposed to accompany Meng (or Rommel), a co-boardmate in one of the boarding houses in Bangkal, Makati City, to Pier 2 (Zaragoza Gate) since he was supposed to be designated as one of the programmers (C#.Net) for one  shipping lines in the north harbor area. Luckily, his new assignment was canceled and thus he was retained to his main office in Legazpi Village, Makati City. Since we were supposed to go to the City of Manila I persuaded him to go with me strolling in Makati Central Business District. This was also an idea for me to show … Continue reading Pasyal with Rommel

Makati Central Business District Map

I monitor my blog stat almost every hour of every day to see how many are visiting my site with different search strings or texts that somehow gears Internet users towards my site. While reviewing these search strings or texts, I found out that not a few surfers use the terms “Makati,” “Makati City,” “Makati City Map,” “Makati Map,” “Makati Central Business District,” and “Makati CBD.” So I decided to put a map of the country’s business capital, for those who want to know the major streets and landmarks of this central business district in Makati. What a day this day

Whew. I woke up very early today for work, then it rained hard – very hard – that it was difficult to find a jeepney to take me to Paseo de Roxas along Pasay Road (Arnaiz). I tried to get a taxi cab, but then all of them weren’t vacant. So, you know what I did? I walked  my way to office from Barangay Bangkal near South Super Highway (Sergio Osmena Highway), crossing the super highway to Estacion street. Then from Estacion Street, I walked near-mile to Pasay Road (Arnaiz). Then from there, I walked until I reached Makati Square … Continue reading What a day this day

Ayala Avenue, Sunday

I decided to stroll around Recto stores and Quiapo sidewalk stalls today to buy things that might be useful for my day-to-day needs. I spent about 3 hours walking, buying  and choosing the best things to be bought. After having spent some time, I did able to buy these necessary things. Then I rode my way to Gil Puyat via the Light Railway Transit (LRT) from Carriedo Station (Sta. Cruz, Manila) to Gil Puyat (Pasay City) and rode a jeep that would take me to the junction of Buendia and Ayala Avenue. From Ayala Avenue, I took some shots of … Continue reading Ayala Avenue, Sunday

While Sitting at a Park

After having gone from the 25th floor of the new Citibank tower along Paseo de Roxas in Makati City, I walked my way to a park in Makati Central Business District near Union Church along Legazpi Street, passing through several underground passageways in Paseo de Roxas and Ayala Avenue. I got tired and so, I sat for a while in the park where joggers do their thing at the park for their regular exercise. While sitting on one of the concrete benches in the park, I noticed the color of the sunset reflecting to RCBC Plaza and GT Tower in … Continue reading While Sitting at a Park
